Accessibility

Accessibility is not an afterthought on this site. I work with people who have learning differences and vision impairment, and I have navigated both myself. So a website that is genuinely usable — readable, navigable, and clear — matters to me as much as anything I would say on it.

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to comply with applicable accessibility law.

What that means in practice

• Text and background colors meet AA contrast ratios, so the site stays readable for low-vision and color-blind visitors.
• Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text for screen-reader users.
• Pages use clear, semantic headings and structure, so assistive technology can navigate them.
• Type is sized for comfortable reading and scales with your browser or device settings.
• Motion is kept minimal and respects a “reduce motion” system preference.
