Teletherapy

Teletherapy (online or by phone) is provided by scheduled appointment only. For all normal communication, or to schedule an intake session to become a client, please reach out by phone at (248) 894-4935 or email at DrG@AaronGoldner.com.

Teletherapy is offered only to established clients — those who have already completed the new-client intake process. Under normal circumstances, intake sessions must be completed in person in Dr. Goldner’s office. Contact Dr. Goldner, as above, to discuss scheduling an intake.

Sessions are held over Zoom, using a secure, encrypted connection. Teletherapy also requires a completed Teletherapy Informed Consent form before your first online session.

Teletherapy cannot be used for emergency treatment. If you are experiencing a medical or psychological emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. You can also call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, at any time.

Joining your session

If you have completed an intake and the Teletherapy Informed Consent form, you can join your scheduled session using the secure Zoom link below at your appointment time.

Join your Zoom session

Before your session

  • Find a private, quiet space where you won’t be overheard or interrupted for the length of the session.
  • Sessions are confidential and are not recorded. Please do not record the session yourself.
  • Use a reliable internet connection and, where possible, headphones for privacy and sound quality.
  • Have a phone nearby as a backup in case the connection drops.
